The National Institute of Open Schooling has extended the last date for the six months certificate course in primary teacher education till 19 July 2026. Interested applicants can visit the official website at bridge.nios.ac.in and complete the registrations. - Go to the NIOS official website at bridge.nios.ac.in
- On the official portal click on enroll now button given on top
- Read the instruction and click proceed button
- Enter all your details, upload documents, pay the fees and complete the registration
- Download the conformation page and take 2-3 print out for future use

Important Documents needed for Registration
All the applicants who are applying for the NIOS certificate teacher course must be prepared with the list of documents mentioned below.
- BEd Marksheet and Certificate
- Appointment letter
- Recent Passport size photograph
- Signature
- Self declaration certificate duly certified by concerned school principal
What is the Eligibility Criteria
- Apply for only primary teachers who have BEd degree and are currently working
- Applicants must have been appointed as primary teachers between 28 June 2018 and 11 August 2023
- The bridge course must be completed within one year from the date it begins
- If a teacher does not complete the course within the given time their appointment will no longer remain valid
- This bridge course is only meant to help teachers continue in their current job
- Teachers should have been appointed based on validity of their BEd qualification under the NCTE notification
