The Madhya Pradesh government has released a notification for filling up 2548 vacant posts of Anganwadi workers and Anganwadi assistants for the year 2026, Phase-1. Only female candidates are eligible to apply for these posts on the Chayan Portal, which has been developed by MP online to fill the district-wise vacant posts. The registration started on July 1, 2026 and will close on July 13, 2026. The correction window will be made available on July 15, 2026.

MP Anganwadi Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the Anganwadi Assistant and Worker posts, the candidates will have to make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria. Given below is the eligibility criterion that the candidates will have to meet to apply for the posts:-
- The female candidates must be residents of the same specific revenue village or the same ward, where the post has to be filled.
- The female candidates should have atleast passed the Class 12th exam from a recognised board.
