BRO Recruitment 2026 Closing Soon, Check Last Date to Apply Online and Other Details

The Border Road Organisation had released a notification for the recruitment of the post or trade of the General Reserve Engineer Force for male candidates only on its official website, under the advertisement number 01/2026. The registration for the applications started on May 21, 2026 and will close tomorrow, July 4, 2026. Leaving a few states, like Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, etc, can submit their applications by July 19, 2026. Candidates who are between the ages of 18 and 27 years can apply for these vacancies. 

The candidates who want to apply for the post of General Reserve Engineer Force will have to send their applications by post, as there is no online application format. Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website, i.e, www.bro.gov.in.

Given below are some important instructions that the candidates should remember while filling out the application form and sending it to the GERF Centre:-

• Candidates will have to submit their application form and admit card in the prescribed format only and must sign and paste photographs, which are not older than 3 months at the spaces left out for the photograph.
• Application forms should be printed on a good-quality A4-sized bond paper using one side only, and for the admit card, it should be printed on both sides of a single sheet of paper as per the format available on the website.
• Application form and/or admit card that has no signature will be rejected.
• Application form and/or admit card that has no photograph will be rejected.
• Application form and/or admit card that has no thumb and/or a blurred impression will be rejected.
• Applications which will be posted from the wrong address to avail the benefit of 60 days of receipt of application from the date of publication of the advertisement will be rejected.
