The Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU, has announced that the application window for its Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and Online Programs for the January 2026 session is nearing its close. This serves as the final opportunity for students across the country and abroad to enroll in a diverse range of courses offered by one of the world’s largest open universities. IGNOU has extended the deadline for January 2026 fresh admission and re-registration (for existing students) to March 15, 2026.  The deadline applies to most ODL and online UG and PG programs. Applications can be filed via the official website, with a late fee of INR 200 for re-registration.

• Prospective students must visit the official admission website, select their preferred program (ODL or Online), and follow the registration process.
• The process includes filling out the detailed application form, uploading necessary documents such as educational certificates and photographs, and remitting the required program fee. 
• Candidates must ensure that all the submitted documents are accurate and complete to facilitate a smooth admission confirmation process.
