Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examination, TNDGE, has officially released the SSLC Result 2026 for the Class 10th students. Candidates who appeared for the class 10th board examinations can now check their results through the official website dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in. The result link will be made available shortly after the press conference has been conducted by the board authorities.
This year, approximately 9 lakh students across the state of Tamil Nadu participated in the SSLC or Class 10th examination, held in March and April. Along with the online result, digital marksheets will also be made available through DigiLocker, which will enable students to access and download their provisional certificates securely at a faster pace.

A total of 13,2924 differently-abled students appeared in the Class 10th exam, only 11,416 cleared the exam. TN SSLC Result 2026: Class 10th 2025 Past Year Performance
Tamil Nadu state has always been one of the best states in India in terms of Class 10th board result performance. Last year, i.e., 2025, the overall pass percentage of the Tamil Nadu Board for class 10th was 93.80%, which shows a constant rise in passing percentage year on year.
- Girls outperformed the boys by scoring a significant pass percentage, which reached up to 95.88%. While the boys of the Tamil Nadu Board class 10th achieved a 91.74%.
- More than 4900 schools which participated in the Class 10th Exam 2025 in Tamil Nadu achieved a 100% pass percentage in 2025. Showcasing a strong academic performance across various districts.
- This year’s result continued their upward trend as there was significant improvement in the attendance, digital learning support, and focused revision programs, which were introduced in the government schools.

To check the result, students need to visit the official websites and click on the SSLC Examination Result 2026 link, which appears on the homepage.
- Enter the required details like the registration number and date of birth very carefully, then submit.
- The provisional marksheet will be displayed on the screen.
- Students are advised to carefully check all their personal details, subject-wise marks, and qualifying status before downloading the document for future admission use.
- The original marksheets will be distributed later through their respective schools.
