Mumbai University 2nd Merit List 2026 Released; Admission Fee Payment Window Opens Till June 3
The University of Mumbai has officially released the second merit list for undergraduate admissions for the 2026–27 academic year. Selected candidates must complete document verification and fee payment between June 1 and June 3, 2026.
The University of Mumbai has announced the 2nd merit list for undergraduate admissions 2026–27. This list was published/uploaded on May 30, 2026 on the official website mu.ac.in and affiliated college websites at 7:00 PM. Now students who applied for admission to BA, BCom, BSc, BMS, BAF, BFM and other UG programmes can check if they are selected or not.
Second Merit List Cutoffs
The second merit list is for those who missed out in the first merit list. The cutoff percentages have decreased marginally from the first list particularly in the case of institutes outside South Mumbai. The second merit list has been released by top colleges such as St. Xavier's, Sophia, Thakur, KJ Somaiya, Ramnarain Ruia, Jai Hind and many more colleges have released a college-wise merit list.
BCom, BMS, BSc IT are some of the competitive courses which have high cutoffs at premier institutes.
The students are advised to check the official website of the college to which they have applied or go to mu.ac.in. The merit list is then posted in the college notice board in the Admission 2026 section. Download the second merit list PDF against your name/Application number (to check whether you have been selected or not). The candidates on the list are the registered candidates who have filled up the Application Form.
Selected candidates are required to pay the Admission fee & complete document verification between June 1st to 3rd, 2026 till 3 PM. Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, transfer certificate, Aadhaar card, Caste certificate (if applicable), passport sized photos and ABC ID are required documents. Failure to attend will forfeit the seat!
Final Chance to submit to 3rd Merit List
The third merit list will be published on June 4, 2026 at 7.00 PM. This is the last chance for admission to UG this academic year. Students should regularly check on official media and take action as soon as they are announced.
