The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that the Post-Result Activities (PRA) portal will be launched on June 1, 2026. Through this portal, Class X & XII candidates can apply for the Verification of marks, get a scanned copy of answer sheets and ask for re-evaluation based on the CBSE guidelines.

The board makes a point of transparency and no glitches in the process; the high standards are also emphasized.

How to Access the Portal?

The students who have appeared in the CBSE Class X & XII exams are eligible to appear in the test. The applications will be submitted on the CBSE website with individual or school login on the prescribed date and time by the board. Schools will remain responsible to help students submit and monitor requests.

Verification of marks include checking for totaling and unmarked questions in order to ascertain that an answer was not left unmarked. Evaluated Answer Books are photocopies of the students' answer books, which are available for students to review their answers.

Re-evaluation is based on the principles of the board and is restricted to those procedures that are permitted by CBSE and is not an open re-marking but a formal review procedure where the marks may be increased, decreased or retained.

Fees, Refunds and Timelines

Every service is priced and if there is an increase in marks, the exact time table and refund policy will be announced by CBSE on their website. Applicants should keep in mind that the application period is open from 1st June, 2026 and the closing date/fines mentioned in the official notification should be referred to.

Students will be required to have their admit card and registration details with them and arrange with their examination coordinator from school for submission. Check out the official updates, deadlines and step-by-step instructions on cbse.gov.in.
