Mumbai University First Merit List 2026 Released, Download UG PDF at mu.ac.in

Mumbai University has announced the first merit list for UG Admissions. The link to check the merit list is now available on the official website. Candidates who have applied for admission to undergraduate courses offered by the university must visit the official admission portal to download the merit list for reference.

Candidates allotted seats in the first round must complete the online verification process through the link provided. Students must submit scanned copies of relevant documents along with the requisite fee to complete the verification. A total of three rounds will be conducted for admissions. Those allotted seats in the first round need to complete the verification between May 27 and 29, 2026. 

It must also be noted that, along with the official website of the university, candidates can also check the Mumbai University UG first merit list on the website of the respective colleges. Students can visit the admission portal on the college website and download the first merit list PDF for reference.

The link for students to check the first merit list is available on the official website. Follow the steps given below to download the PDF

Step 1: Visit the official website - muggauniversity.samarth.edu.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Mumbai University Merit List’ tab.

Step 3: Click on the relevant link

Step 4: The UG first merit list 2026 will be displayed

Step 5: Read through the instructions and download for further reference

Documents Required for MU UG Admission 2026 Verification

The following documents are required to be submitted during the verification process. Candidates must keep originals and photocopies with them for the admissions.,

• Class 10 (SSC) Marksheet & Certificate

• Class 12 (HSC) Marksheet

• Passport-Size Photograph (Recent, soft copy under 500 KB)

• Scanned Signature (On white paper, soft copy under 500 KB)

• Aadhaar Card

• Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID (Mandatory for profile creation)

• School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (TC)

• Caste Certificate & Validity (Required if claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/VJNT)

• Domicile Certificate (For Maharashtra residents)

• Migration Certificate (Required if passing Class 12 from outside the Maharashtra State Board)

• Income Certificate / EWS Certificate (If applying for fee concessions or economically weaker sections)

• Specially Abled / PwD Certificate (If applicable)
