UGC NET 2026: The NTA has opened the UGC NET 2026 correction window for the candidates who have filled the UGC NET application form 2026 and require some edits in it. The correction window will remain open between 26 May to 28 May 2026. The candidates who want to modify the details in their submitted application forms can use the correction window facility by visiting the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. UGC NET 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2026 between 22 June to 30 June 2026, for which the application process was conducted between 29 April to 24 May 2026. Now, the NTA has opened the correction portal for the candidates who have submitted the application forms. The candidates who wish to make any changes in their already submitted forms can do so by 28 May 2026 (till 11:30 pm).
The NTA conducts the UGC NET exam twice in a year to provide certifications to the candidates to be eligible to become Assistant Professors, continue PhD, obtain JRF,etc. The UGC NET exam consists of two papers- Paper 1 is for teaching aptitude and Paper 2 for the subject-concerned.
UGC NET 2026 Exam Date
The NTA will conduct the UGC NET 2026 starting from 22 June onwards till 30 June. The exam will be conducted for 87 subjects. Previously, the exam was held for only 85 subjects, two more subjects were added from this session. These subjects are Statistics and Forestry.

Visit the official website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

On the bottom of the homepage, in the Candidate Activity section, click on “Registration Window for UGC-NET June 2026 Examination”.

Click on the Already Registered Candidate link.

Enter your application number and password and click on Login button.

Your application form will appear on the screen.

You can modify the details that you find incorrect.

Then again submit your application and save it for future reference.
