The MU UG Admission 2026 first merit list will be available on the official website of the university. The complete first merit list on the website will contain the list of colleges along with the cutoff marks required. Students need to visit the website of the university and complete the process for admissions by May 29, 2026. 

Once the merit list is released, candidates who have been allotted seats must complete the document verification process as per the given dates. Candidates need to verify the documents and submit the requisite fee from May 27 to 29, 2026. 

Mumbai University will be releasing the first merit list for colleges affiliated to the university at 11 AM. Candidates can also check the individual college websites for a detailed course-wise merit list and cutoff. Candidates allotted seats in specific colleges must visit the website for further details.

St. Xavier's is one of the most popular colleges in Mumbai. Earlier affiliated to the university, Xavier's is now an autonomous college. To check the merit list for admissions to UG courses at St. Xavier's, students must visit the official website of the college and download the merit list PDF. As per the notification on the website, candidates whose names are displayed in the first merit list are required to collect the College Pre-filled Admission form available in the XIMR Building from 27 th May 2026, 10.00 a.m. & 29th May 2026 till 3.30 p.m. as per the slots given in the merit list.

According to the schedule released, the second merit list for MU UG admission 2026 will be released on May 30, 2026 at 7 PM. Candidates can download their merit list PDFs through the link on the official website.

Students who have applied for the UG admissions need to complete the online verification of documents through the link provided. The list of documents required is provided below

• Class 10 (SSC) Marksheet & Certificate

• Class 12 (HSC) Marksheet

• Passport-Size Photograph (Recent, soft copy under 500 KB)

• Scanned Signature (On white paper, soft copy under 500 KB)

• Aadhaar Card

• Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID (Mandatory for profile creation)

• School Leaving Certificate / Transfer Certificate (TC)

• Caste Certificate & Validity (Required if claiming reservation under SC/ST/OBC/VJNT)

• Domicile Certificate (For Maharashtra residents)

• Migration Certificate (Required if passing Class 12 from outside the Maharashtra State Board)

• Income Certificate / EWS Certificate (If applying for fee concessions or economically weaker sections)

• Specially Abled / PwD Certificate (If applicable)

Along with the merit list on the official website, some of the colleges affiliated to the university will also release their merit lists on their respective websites. Candidates can check the admission portal of respective colleges to check the merit list.
