According to recent reports, the evaluation process of answer sheets has been completed across various districts. In the Kabirdham district alone, over 83,000 answer scripts were evaluated within the set timeline, signalling that the board is on track to announce the results shortly. 

Students who appeared for the High School, Class 10th and Higher Secondary, Class 12th examinations can expect their scores to be released during the first week of May 2026. While a minor delay occurred for the Class 12 Hindi paper due to rescheduling, the evaluation for that specific subject is being fast-tracked to ensure a simultaneous release of results for both classes.

Once the CGBSE Result 2026 is declared, students can check their marks by following these steps:

  • Visit the official CGBSE portal at cgbse.nic.in or results.cg.nic.in.
  • Click on the link for High School or Higher Secondary Main examination Results 2026
  • Enter your roll number and the captcha code as displayed on the screen.
  • Click Submit to view your provisional digital marksheet.

The board has also maintained strict measures during the evaluation process, with authorities taking action against any negligence to ensure accuracy in the marking. After the online declaration, physical marksheets will be sent to the respective schools for distribution. Students dissatisfied with their marks will have a 15-day window to apply for re-evaluation or re-totalling.
