BITS Pilani Launches 5-Year BE-MBA Dual Degree and BE in Pharmaceutical Engineering for 2026–27

BITS Pilani 2026: Two innovative programs have been added to BITS Pilani's academic offerings for the 2026–2027 academic year: a specialized Bachelor of Engineering in Pharmaceutical Engineering and an integrated 5-Year (3+2) BE–MBA dual degree. The intercampus dual degree, created in partnership with the BITS School of Management (BITSoM), provides students with an efficient way to combine leadership abilities with technical knowledge. 

According to this model, students attend the Pilani, Goa, or Hyderabad campuses for the first three years of their engineering program before moving to the BITSoM campus in Mumbai for a two-year, full-time MBA program. Graduates receive both degrees upon successfully completing the five-year cycle, greatly speeding their admission into prestigious corporate and entrepreneurial positions.

In addition to a special Vertical Transfer option for current BITS engineering students, admission to this premium track is made possible through BITSAT in a Direct Mode. Candidates who maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 by the end of their second year can move to the MBA phase without taking the CAT, GRE, or GMAT; however, Vertical Transfer applicants will go through an additional selection process. 

BE-MBA Dual Degree and BE in Pharmaceutical Engineering Highlights: 2026–27 Session
