The last date to apply for AICTE Industry Fellowship programme (IFP) has been extended to 5 July 2026. Eligible faculty members from technical institutions still have the time to summit their applications. The IFP fellowship is designed to help faculty to gain practical industry experience by working with industry partners allowing them to learn about the latest technologies and real world practices. This experience can be used in classroom teaching to improve students skills, employability and industry readiness. Read the article to know more details.

Eligibility Criteria for AICTE Industry Fellowship Program
- Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of full time teaching experience
- If an applicant is working on contractual role, ad-hoc, part time visiting faculty is not eligible to apply
- Maximum age limit is 50 years as of 26 May 2026
Also candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria given below:
- Have qualified exams such as GAET, CRE, CAT, MAT, JRF, SRF, NET or any other State or central or university entrance exam for postgraduation or doctoral admissions
- Have published at least five research papers in Scopus or web of science indexed journals
- Have completed government funded project worth at least 15 lakhs
- Have received a young scientist award or other recognised proficiency award from a central or state government university.
- A nomination letter and no objection certificate from parent institution of applicant is mandatory
