It has been clearly mentioned in the notice issued by the UP Police Board that "Under no circumstances will any date be rescheduled after the final date / date fixed for the reserve day for Document Verification and Physical Standard Test. If the candidate fails to appear for the test on the rescheduled date and time, they will be considered failed in the test, and no other opportunity will be given to the candidate for a re-test on grounds of health or any other basis whatsoever". 

If any candidate fails to appear for the test on the scheduled date, time, and venue, they can submit a representation to the Nodal Officer in the respective district to participate in the test on an alternative date, stating detailed reasons for non-appearance. The Nodal Officer may consider their representation and take a decision to allow them to participate in the test on any other date from the dates scheduled for Document Verification and Physical Standard Test / reserved days. 

If any candidate is not satisfied with their Physical Standard Test, they can file an appeal/objection on the same day immediately after the test. For the resolution of all such appeals/objections, an Additional Superintendent of Police will be nominated as the Nodal Officer at each location by the Board, and the Physical Standard Test of all such candidates will be conducted again in the presence of the Additional Superintendent of Police nominated by the committee

The UP Home Guard DV process will start from 13 July onwards and the Board will form a committee to conduct the process. Candidates will be called before the committee formed by the Board along with relevant documents regarding their eligibility, age, reservation category (vertical/horizontal), mandatory and preferential qualification marks, etc., for their document verification and physical standard test.

Follow these steps to download UP Home Guard admit card 2026:

• Go to the UP Police Board official website at uppbpb.gov.in.
• Go to the Notice section on the homepage, and click on the "Link for downloading admit card for verification of records and Physical Standard Test (DV/PST) under Enrollment-2025 for the posts of Uttar Pradesh Home Guard".
• Enter your registration number and date of birth and click on Sign-In.
• Your admit card will appear on the screen.
• Download it and take a printout of it.

The candidates will now have to appear for the UP Home Guard DV & PST process which will start from 13 July and go on till 06 August. The results of DV & PST will be released on the same day and those who find the results as dissatisfactory can ask for the new date for DV & PST, which is set by the Board to be 07 August 2026. No other dates will be allowed.

In case, a candidate forgets his/her registration number, they can visit the official portal of UPPBPB and click in the admit card download link. There you will get the link for "Forget Registration Number". Click on that link.

• You will receive the registration number through an SMS on your registered mobile number.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPBPB) is going to release the admit card anytime soon on the official website. As per the notice issued on the official website, the admit card will be releasing today. The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board has conducted the UP Home Guard written examination on 25th, 26th, & 27th April 2026 in offline mode (OMR-sheet). The results were announced on 28 June and a total of 1,07,221 candidates were shortlisted for DV & PST.

A committee will be formed by the UP Police Board to conduct the Physical Standard Test (PST) for the shortlisted candidates. This commitee consists of a Chairman and 3 members. This include:

• Any Deputy Collector nominated by the District Magistrate - Chairman
• Any Deputy Superintendent of Police nominated by the District Police In-charge - Member
• Any Gazetted Officer nominated by the District Inspector of Schools -Member
• Any Medical Officer nominated by the Chief Medical Officer - Member

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board has issued a noitice on 03 July stating the UP Home Guard DV & PST schedule. As per the notice, the DV & PST for the shortlisted candidates will start from 13 July 2026. The candidates who will find any discrepancy in the PST results can ask fir another date, foir which the dates are reserved by the Board. The reserve day for such situations happens to be 07 August 2026. No other dates or schedule will be alloted to the candidates other than this reserve day.

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment & Promotion Board (UPPBPB) will not send any admit card through post to any of the shortlisted candidates under any circumstances. The Board will send email and SMS to the candidates along with the link to download admit card. Therefore, the candidates shoul wait for the email or SMS and regularly visit the official website for the information.

The physical standards set for the female candidates by the UP Police Board includes height and weight as parameters. These parameters are defined here.

• Height: The minimum height for General / OBC/ SC candidates is 152 cm. Whereas, the minimum height for female candidates belonging to ST community is 147 cm.
• Weight: The minimum weight for female candidates is 40 kg.

The UP Police Board has set up different physical standards for both male and female candidates. These standards include height snd chest. Check the standards for male candidates:

• Height: Minimum height for the General/ UR/ OBC/ SC candidates must be at least 168 cm. While, the height for ST candidates should be at least 160 cm.
• Chest: For General/ UR/ OBC/ SC candidates shall not be less than 79 cm unexpanded and at least 84 cm expanded. Whereas, for ST candidates, it shall not be less than 77 cm unexpanded and 82 cm expanded.

The UP Home Guard selection is a three-step process which involves a written exam, document verification and physical standard test. The candidates have to qualify each of these stages separately from each other. Those who are shortlisetd in the written exam will be called in for DV. After all the DV process has been conducted successfully, the candidates will have to appear for the PST.

A total of 1,07,221 candidates have been shortlisted through the UP Home Guard written examination for the next stage of the selection process which is Document Verification (DV) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board is going to fill a total of 41,424 vacant posts of Home Guard in the state. The UP Home Guard written examination was conducted between 25-27 April and the results were announced on 28 June.
