Tamil Nadu Election Results 2026 LIVE: After voting in a single phase on April 23, the counting of votes for the 234 seats of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly will begin at 8 AM. The majority mark is set at 118 and counting of votes will decide the mood of the state whether to stick with M.K. Stalin’s "Dravidian Model" or back to the AIADMK. The principal contenders are the DMK, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), and actor Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam(TVK) party.
