Who Won Kerala Election Results 2026?

The results of Kerala's 2026 Assembly elections were a clear victory for the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF), which won a strong majority in the 140-member House; winning approximately 95-100 seats (about 55-60% of total).

It marked a significant return to power for the UDF after having lost the previous two elections in Kerala to the LDF.

The LDF governments were heavily defeated, winning approximately 30-35 seats (approximately 25% of total votes casts) throughout its term in office. The remainder of the Assembly will be apportioned among various smaller parties and candidates affiliated with the BJP-led NDA, which was only able to secure a few seats.

Ultimately, these results indicate a fundamental change in the political landscape of Kerala.
