CINBAX-II Exercise is a 14-day exercise involving 280 personnel from both nations. It aims to enhance tactical synergy, showcase modern tech like drone operations, and strengthen the growing strategic partnership between India and Cambodia.
CINBAX-II Military Exercise 2026
The exercise is being hosted at the Techo Sen Phnom Thom Mreas Prov Training Centre (Camp Basil) in the Kampong Speu Province of Cambodia which runs from May 4 to May 17, 2026. The drill focuses on "sub-conventional operations" under the framework of Chapter VII of the United Nations Mandate.
CINBAX-II Exercise is a 14-day exercise involving 280 personnel from both nations.The Indian Army contingent will be composed of 120 personnel while the Cambodian contingent comprises 160 personnel.
It aims to enhance tactical synergy, showcase modern tech like drone operations, maintain global peace and strengthen the growing strategic partnership between India and Cambodia.

CINBAX-II is tailored to meet the complexities of modern, asymmetric threats. The curriculum is specifically aligned with the dynamics of Counter-Terrorism operations encountered by United Nations (UN) peacekeeping forces.
Key training modules include specialized skills, drone operations, tactical synergy followed by Validation Phase to test the operational readiness of the joint force.
The first edition of CINBAX was held in Pune, India, in December 2024. The move to Cambodia for the second iteration highlights India’s proactive "Act East" Policy. In the CINBAX-II by sharing "best practices" and operational experiences. India is not only positioning itself as a reliable security partner in the Indo-Pacific but also helping build the capacity of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces for Cambodia. This partnership offers a balanced approach to regional security, diversifying its military cooperation beyond traditional allies.
