60:40 Selection Formula: The final selection merit order is arrived at by considering 60% weightage to the candidate's mark in RIE CEE Entrance Exam and 40% weightage to marks obtained in his/her qualifying examination (aggregate Class 12 for Level 1 and graduation aggregate for Level 2).
Qualifying Marks Expected: Though there is no minimum prescribed cut-off as such by NCERT, based on usual historic trends, the following qualifying marks out of 160 can be considered as safe for shortlisting to counseling:
