IGNOU Re-Registration Last Date Extended For July 2026 Session, Know How To Apply

IGNOU July Registration 2026: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the re-registration dates for all programmes offered in Open and Distance Learning (ODL) and online mode. Interested candidates can apply for the programmes till July 15 on the official website ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in. The re-registration is mandatory for students continuing with their next semester or academic year.

Candidates applying for the following courses must apply through a different portal- ignouflip.samarth.edu.in:

• PGCMDM (PG Certificate in Medical Management of CBRNE Disasters)
• CESEIHI (Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion - Hearing Impairment)
• CESEIVI (Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion - Visual Impairment)
• CESEIID (Certificate in Early Childhood Special Education Enabling Inclusion - Intellectual Disability)

How To Re-Register For IGNOU July 2026 Courses?

• Visit the official IGNOU admission portal at ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
• Login using your registered username and password and then click on “Login”.
• Then, click on the re-registration link, and submit any documents if required.
• You will be successfully registered for the next semester/academic year.

Scholarships

Students who have successfully taken admission into IGNOU can apply for scholarships on the government’s official portal scholarships.gov.in. A One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory before applying for any of the offered scholarships.

Required Documents For Applying

• Clear, Color, Passport size photograph with white background (less than 100 KB in JPEG format)
• Softcopy of Signature (less than 100 KB in JPEG format)
• Softcopy of relevant Educational Qualification (less than 200 KB in JPEG / PDF format)
• Softcopy of Experience Certificate (if any) (less than 200 KB in JPEG / PDF format)
• Softcopy of Category Certificate, if SC/ST/OBC (less than 200 KB in JPEG / PDF format)

Candidates who request for cancellation after the confirmation of admission will be subject to a deduction of an amount equivalent to 15% of the programme fee, subject to a ceiling of Rs.2,000.
