CAT 2026 Notification: The Common Admission Test (CAT), held for admission into MBA programmes at the Indian Institute of Managements (IIMs) will likely take place soon for this year. One of the participating IIMs will be organizing the test and it is expected that IIM Indore will be the one this year. The organizing institute will release a detailed notification on the official CAT 2026 website which will include information related to registration start date, fees, required documents and application fees.

CAT 2026 Expected Registration Fees
The registration fees for CAT 2026 will likely be Rs. 1300 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons with Disability (PwD) category candidates. For other category candidates, it will be Rs. 2600. Candidates are required to pay the fees only once, irrespective of the number of institutes they apply for.
CAT Exam Pattern
The CAT is conducted in computer based mode in three sessions for a duration of 120 minutes. The test will have the following three sections:
Section I: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
Section II: Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
Section III: Quantitative Ability
For each section, candidates will have 40 minutes to answer. You will not be allowed to switch from one section to another while answering questions in a section. To help candidates understand the test format, the organizing institute will conduct a mock test on the official CAT website.

The CAT (Common Admission Test) is a premier national-level management entrance examination in India.
