Fire Breaks Out at Ministry of Education Office in SPA Campus Near Delhi's ITO: No Injuries Reported

A fire started in the Ministry of Education office in the School of Planning and Architecture premises in ITO, near Delhi's ITO on Monday morning. The incident took place at approximately 9:37 AM, and eight fire tenders were immediately dispatched to handle the fire.

What Caused the Fire at SPA Campus?

Fire broke out on the second floor of the building where the offices of the Ministry of Education are located within the School of Planning and Architecture Campus. Delhi Fire Service (DFS) has quickly reached the spot and firefighting efforts are underway. Rescue efforts were made; and thankfully, as of now, there are no casualties or injury reports till now. The cause of the fire remains to be investigated and authorities are trying to find out how the fire got started.

This incident was not a center of exams, classrooms or schools. The Ministry of Education has a number of significant responsibilities with respect to students such as the administration of scholarships, the development of national education policies and exam regulations. 

No news of impending examinations being cancelled, scholarship payments being deferred or notification letters being impacted. Fire is contained to a single level in an administrative building with no disruption to essential services of education.
