Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal has had a discussion with Eurobank CEO Fokion Karavias on expanding India-Greece economic partnership during his visit to Greece. Piyush on Tuesday said that with UPI is now live in Greece.
What Is UPI International Payment?
UPI International helps users to make digital payments outside India. Instead of carrying cash or using cards, travellers can pay with existing UPI apps. The payment account can be sent according to available exchange rates.

5 Countries Where Indians Can Use UPI Payments Abroad
1. Greece
Greece has recently supported UPI payments for Indian travellers. UPI payments will help tourists to make payments easily, supporting Indians to explore.
2. France
France was the first European country to accept UPI payments. For popular destinations like Paris Indian tourists can use UPI at merchant locations and in tourist areas.
3. Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has made transactions easier for Indian visitors travelling to the island nation. UPI based payment has improved digital payment connectivity and made travelling easier.
4. Mauritius
Mauritius has also partnered with India for UPI connectivity. It will engage more travellers while increasing digital payment co-operation between Mauritius and India.
5. UAE
