Tanmay Awate Wins 'Most Innovative Use of AI' for Smart Drainage System at Jagran Josh Awards
Tanmay Awate from Vivekanand English High School received the "Most Innovative Use of AI" award at the Jagran Josh Education Awards for his "Envira Hydro Drainage System".
Student Tanmay Awate of Vivekanand English High School has been honored with the prestigious "Most Innovative Use of AI" title at the Jagran Josh Education Awards for his project, the 'Envira Hydro Drainage Water Management System'.
The award, for the class group of 8 to 10, was awarded to the project titled “Envira Hydro Drainage System”. According to the description submitted,The Envira Hydro Drainage System is an automated gutter cleaning solution designed to remove waste from drainage systems without human intervention. It uses an ultrasonic sensor to detect the presence of waste in the gutter and an Arduino-based control system to activate servo motors. These motors operate a mechanical arm or conveyor mechanism that collects and transfers waste into a storage bin. The system ensures continuous water flow, reduces manual labor, and improves sanitation. It is cost-effective, scalable, and suitable for urban and rural drainage systems.
This invention is critical to present times because it helps keep water flowing and makes sanitation better. By reducing the need for manual labor, it provides a safer way to manage waste. The system is also cost-effective and can be easily scaled up, making it a great solution for both city and rural drainage problems.
