The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has issued the round 1 seat allotments results for UG admissions. Candidates can now visit the official NIFT website at nift.admissions.nic.in and login to view their seat allotment status. In order to login the portal they will require their exam roll number and password.The seat allotment has been announced for admissions in Bachelor of design (B.Des) and Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) courses. Candidates who have secured a seat must complete the seat acceptance process, upload the required documents and pay the admission fee on or before 1 July 2026 to confirm their allotted seat.

How seat allotment is done at NIFT?
NIFT prepares the seat allotment list by considering a candidate's entrance exam rank, category, preferred courses and campuses selected during the counseling round and upon the availability of seats. Seats are given based on to these factors in each round of the counselling process.
Round 2 Schedule and Choice Editing
Candidates who did not receive a seat in Round 1 should not worry and wait for the Round 2 seat allotment process. They can also update their course and campus preference starting from 3 July to 5 July 2026. NTA will also open a window to apply for an NRI sponsored seat for round 2 on 3 July 2026 from 9 am to 5 PM.
