The NEET UG examination, featuring a multiple-choice format, will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm. The test will comprise 180 questions for a total of 720 marks. Physics and Chemistry sections will each contain 45 questions, accounting for 180 marks per subject. Biology, divided into Botany and Zoology, will contribute the remaining 90 questions, carrying 360 marks. Additionally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued a warning to candidates regarding the false "NEET UG paper leak" rumors circulating on various social media platforms.

Leave your wallets, belts, caps, and watches at home. Even water bottles are usually not allowed unless you have a medical condition and prior approval.

 NTA will provide ballpoint pens at the examination centre. Candidates are NOT permitted to carry their own gel pens, fountain pens, or pencils. This is a strict rule. Attempting to bring your own pen could attract suspicion during the frisking process.

To access and download your NEET 2026 admit card, keep the following credentials ready: Application Number, Date of Birth or Password, Security PIN/Captcha.

If you wear religious or customary dress (like a Hijab or Turban), you must reach the exam center by 12:30 PM for extra security checking and frisking.

Boys should stick to half-sleeve shirts or T-shirts. Avoid anything with big buttons, zips, or many pockets (like cargo pants). Simple trousers are the way to go.

NEET UG 2026 is scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026. The exam will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM IST. Its a three-hour exam. It will be conducted in offline, pen-and-paper mode. Candidates must reach their exam centre well before the reporting time as gate entry closes at 1:30 PM.

Your admit card will mention a specific "Reporting Time." You must reach the centre at least 1 hour before this time. Late entries (usually after 1:30 PM) are never allowed, no matter what the reason.

Step 3:- Log in using your application number and password or date of birth. 

Step 4:- Enter the security pin displayed on the screen.

Step 5:- Click on submit to access your admit card, and download it.

Step 6:- Take a printout on an A4-size sheet and carry the same to the exam hall

NTA is expected to drop the hall tickets anytime soon, as the exam will be conducted on May 3 2026. Make sure you have your Application Number and DOB written down somewhere so you don't scramble at the last minute.

Experts suggest taking at least 3-4 colored printouts of your admit card. You will need to submit one at the exam centre, and keeping an extra copy at home is always a safe bet in case one gets lost.
