KSEAB SSLC Exams 2026: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) will begin the Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exams 2026 tomorrow, March 18, 2026. Class 10 students will appear for the first language paper, followed by Science on March 23 and second language on March 25, 2026.

This academic year, approximately 9 lakh students have registered for the Karnataka SSLC 2026 Class 10 exams, out of which a total 8,12,855 are fresher students, 62,845 are repeaters, and 27,189 are private candidates.

KSEAB SSLC Exams 2026: Important Points for Students 

  • Students must carry their SSLC Karnataka hall tickets to the exam hall. Candidates will only be allowed entry to the exam centre with their hall ticket, along with the school ID. The hall ticket also mentions the exam reporting time.
  • The board has reduced the minimum passing requirement. Students now need 33 percent marks in aggregate to pass, previously which was 35 percent.
  • In order to be declared pass, students must score an average of 33 percent on both internal assessments and external examinations included, which equates to at least 206 out of 625 total marks. Students will also be required to obtain a minimum of 30 percent marks in each subject.
  • Students can also travel on KSRTC and BMTC buses for free using a valid hall ticket. Similar free travel arrangements are being planned for private buses in the coastal and Malnad regions.
