JoSAA Counselling Seat Matrix: Check Total Number of Branch-wise Seats Available across IITs, NITs and other GFTIs B.Tech Programs
The JoSAA 2026 counselling registration and choice filling window begins today, June 2, 2026, at 5 PM. Candidates with valid JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores can apply through the official website at jeeadv.ac.in.
JoSAA 206 counselling registration and choice filling window opens at 5 PM today, June 2, 2026. Those who have cleared their JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exams can visit the official website to enter their choices for allotment.
JoSAA counselling is conducted for admissions to 23 IITs, IISc Bengaluru, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 56 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes accepting the JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores for admissions to engineering programmes.

JoSAA Counselling 2026 Seat Matrix
The JoSAA counselling 2026 seat matrix includes the total number of seats available at participating institutes for admissions. Admissions will be conducted based on the seat availability in each programme and institute. During the choice filling process, students are required to select the course and college of their choice based on their probability to secure an allotment and the number of seats available.
With each passing counselling round, the seat matrix will be updated with the number of seats vacant for the next counselling round. When entering choices in each counselling round, students are advised to go through the seat matrix for the college and course of their choice and enter the options accordingly.
