Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has declared the entrance exam result for its Mass Communication program for the 2026 session. Students appearing in the JMI Mass Communication entrance exam are now able to download their result on the official admissions portal.

How to Download the JMI Mass Communication Entrance Exam Result?

Head over to the JMI admissions website and navigate to the ‘Entrance Result’ or 'University Result' tab where you can find the list for Mass Communication. Save the PDF file or result page for future reference purposes and take a printout as well.

The JMI result contains information about roll number, marks scored in the objective/descriptive part (if any), and the selection status. Moreover, a merit/rank list is issued for students who qualify for the second stage.

Steps to Follow for Shortlisted students

Students listed as selected in the JMI result need to get ready for the next step of admission (interview/personality test). Keep visiting the admission website for further instructions.

  • Document checklist (prepare in advance)

  • Admit card and entrance test scorecard or result printout.

  • Class 10 and 12 marksheets and degree/marksheet of qualifying exam.

  • Category certificate (if applicable), ID proof, passport-size photographs, and proof of residence.

Make use of the wait period to revise frequently asked interview questions, which are related to recent national and international events, basic understanding of media studies, sample portfolios, and common personal questions; also practice your spoken skills and mock interviews. Revise the Mass Communication syllabus as well as patterns of past years for the tie-breakers, if any.
