CBSE 12th Re-Evaluation Fee: When Will Students Receive Refund?
CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released over 87% of Class 12 re-evaluation results in phases via DigiLocker. While remaining results are expected soon, CBSE confirmed that fee refunds for marks increases, duplicates, or excesses will be processed back to original source accounts after all results are declared.
CBSE Class 12 Re-Evaluation: CBSE Re-Evaluation Fee Refund: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had earlier notified that the re-evaluation results for all Class 12 students are “expected to be completed soon." However, students have raised concerns about when the board will refund the re-evaluation fees for those whose marks increased after applying for re-evaluation.
The results are being issued in phases, with several students still awaiting their revised results while others have already received their updated marksheets.
When Will CBSE Refund the Re-Evaluation Fee?
The board has not issued a specific timeline for the refund of re-evaluation fees. However, students can expect the refund process to begin once the results for all applicants have been declared. In a detailed notification dated June 21, the board had stated that refunds of re-evaluation fees would be processed after the declaration of results.
When Will CBSE Announce Re-Evaluation Results for the Remaining Students?
The board is likely to release the remaining re-evaluation results soon. Once declared, students can check and download their scorecards from the following official websites:
“The outcomes are being released in a phased manner, with over 87% of the total applications received being declared today. The outcomes of the remaining applications will be made available in phases and the entire process is expected to be completed soon. You may see the status of your application at results.digilocker.gov.in,” a post by CBSE on X read.

Enter your roll number, admit card ID. Mother’s name and school number.

The board had also assured students that any excess or duplicate amount paid would be refunded to the original source account.
