Many first-time applicants often mistake the city intimation slip for their actual admit card. Note that the city slip only provides the allocated city and date for travel planning. The official entry hall ticket, which contains the exact test venue address, is released exactly four days before your exam.

The upcoming June session exam will follow a three-shift rule. The shift will include morning, afternoon, and evening shifts. The morning shift reporting time starts at 07:30 AM, the afternoon shift begins at 11:30 AM, and the evening shift starts at 03:30 PM. Double-check your city slip for your specific assigned shift timing.

The total number of registered candidates in the RRB NTPC UG Exam 2026 is 63,27,474. Given this large number of registered candidates, this phased distribution of exam dates and city slips helps manage regional accommodation and transport arrangements effectively.

During the RRB NTPC UG 2026 exam, the candidate will have to go through the Aadhaar-linked biometric authentication of candidates at the exam centre before entering the centre. Candidates are advised to bring the original Aadhaar card or a printout of the e-verified Aadhaar card. 

RRB, in their official notification, have requested the candidates to be aware of all the websites that promise the appointment for jobs and illegal considerations. Those are all fake promises. RRB selects the candidates based on the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and the recruitment is based only on the merit of the candidates.

RRB has formally announced that any requests related to the modification of the allocated exam cities, shift timing changes, or individual exam centres will not be accommodated under any circumstances. Allocations of exam city and centre will be processed systematically through an algorithm based on administrative capacity and candidate zone preferences submitted at the time of registration.

The RRB NTPC UG exam 2026 first phase was conducted in early May 2026, from May 7 to 9, 2026. The June RRB NTPC UG exam will be conducted from June 13, 14, 15, 16, to 20, 2026.
