The UP Police Constable exam is to be held on 8, 9 and 10 June 2026 across 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. This year around 28, 86,797 candidates applied for 32,679 countable vacancies. For easy convenience of aspirants Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken an important decision. Candidates who are travelling for the UP Police Constable exam will receive a 50% discount on bus fares on showing their admit cards.The move is expected to benefit students travelling for the examination and reduce their travel expenses. In order to accommodate a large number of applicants, authorities have set up around 1,183 examination centres across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Security and Monitoring Arrangements for UP Police Constable Exam 2026
Director General of Recruitment Board, SB Shiradkar has stated that comprehensive preparations have been made by the police department, district administration and other concerned agencies to ensure examinations are successfully conducted in a smooth, secure and transparent manner. Special arrangements have been implemented for candidate verification and entry management at UP Police constable examination centers.
All the examination centres are under surveillance while static magistrates, observers and police personnel have been deployed to oversee the conduct of examination. Additional security arrangements have been made at sensitive centres. Authorities have further strengthened law and order measures around examination centres to ensure a safe and hassle free environment for candidates appearing in the UP Police Constable exam 2026.
