UPPRPB Police Constable Exam 2026: Day 1 Starts at 1183 Exam Centres, Under Heavy Monitoring

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, UPPRPB, has started the huge written examination for 32,679 constable vacancies on June 8, 2026. A massive number of candidates, i.e, 28,86,707, will be appearing for the UP Police Constable Exam 2026 and are scheduled to appear for the offline exam over the period of three days, from June 8 to 10, 2026.  With the large number of candidates appearing for this exam, the Uttar Pradesh state administration has positioned strict security measures in place across all 75 districts where the exam will be conducted.

To avoid any cases related to paper leaks, impersonation, or cheating, the UPPRPB has set up a detailed verification system. No candidate or even a staff member can enter the exam venue without clearing the important e-KYC face match and biometric verification. Given below is the simple breakdown of the Exam day structure that will be followed for the course of three days:-

Every single exam room will be monitored live through the CCTV network, which will be connected directly to a centralised control room in Lucknow. In addition, the unused facility rooms are also sealed to avoid any kind of unauthorised storage.

UPPRPB Police Constable Exam 2026: Prohibited Items and Travel Advisory

The Uttar Pradesh administration and the UPPRPB have clearly mentioned that all electronic items, like phones, smartwatches, and Bluetooth accessories, are completely banned. Given below is the list of the measures that the authorities have taken to avoid any kind of cheating instance or malpractice:-

• There are dedicated secure rooms, which are managed by the supervisors, who have been arranged at every centre for the security of the bags and mobile phones of those candidates who submit them.
• To manage the rush of nearly 4.8 lakh candidates who are travelling for each shift, special trains are being run, and dedicated student support centres have been started at railway and bus stations.
• The Government of Uttar Pradesh has also allowed a 50 per cent discount on the bus fare for the candidates who will be travelling for the UP Police Constable exam 2026.
• The discount on the bus ticket will only apply to the ordinary Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) buses. Private Bus services are excluded from this discount.
