Karnataka Police Recruitment 2026: The Karnataka State Police Department has commenced the online application process for the Constable Post from today i.e. June 08, 2026. Earlier the authority had released recruitment notification for the 3,395 Police Constable (Civil) positions within the (non-HK) cadre across the state. Out of 3395 positions, a total of 2266 posts are for Direct Men, 755 for Direct Women, 25 for In-service Men, and 82 are for In-service Women (82), and 35 for Transgender candidates. What Is The Selection Process For Karnataka Police 2026?

Under the selection process for the Police Constable (Civil) posts, candidates will have to undergo different stages as mentioned in the notification. Below are the details of the selection process-
Written Examination: An offline OMR-type test consisting of 100 questions covering General Knowledge, Science, Geography, History, Constitution, Mental Ability, and Ethics.
Physical Tests: Candidates shortlisted at a 1:5 ratio from the written exam will undergo an Endurance Test (ET) and a Physical Standard Test (PST).
Height Requirement (General Male): Minimum 168 cm.
Height Requirement (General Female/Transgender): Minimum 157 cm.
Medical Examination: Shortlisted candidates will finally undergo a medical board evaluation.
