UP Board Result 2026: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has started the UP Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2026 Scrutiny registration process today, April 27, 2026. Candidates will be able to register for their answer sheet rechecking and scrutiny online on the official website at upmsp.edu.in.
Students who believe that their answer sheets have not been checked properly can apply for the rechecking online. The registrations will close on May 17, 2026. The UP Board announced the High School and Intermediate Examination 2026 results on April 23, 2026 until 6 PM.
How to apply for UPMSP 10th, 12th Answer Sheet Correction?
Students who have registered for the UP Board 10th and 12th answer sheet scrutiny process should follow these steps:
- Visit the official UPMSP portal at upmsp.edu.in.
- Click on the link "Online Application For Scrutiny 2026."
- Fill out the form by entering your roll number and centre code.
- Deposit the required online application fee using a Treasury Challan in the Government Treasury.
- Download and print the completed application form along with the payment receipt.
- Attach the original treasury challan to the printed form.
- Send all complete documents by registered post to the appropriate UPMSP Regional Office for your district.

The UP Board has mentioned that applications submitted offline without an online registration will be rejected. Additionally, no applications received after the May 17th deadline will be considered. Students must complete both the online registration and the physical document submission well before the cutoff date. Schools that fail to request necessary corrections within the specified time and seek changes after the Certificate-cum-Marksheets are issued will be flagged.
UP Board Class 10, 12 Answer Sheet Scrutiny Process
- Eligible Corrections: Includes errors in the student's name, parent's name, date of birth, photograph, and other similar details.
- Procedure: School Principals must access the Board’s official website at upmsp.edu.in to download the required correction format and procedural manual.
- Verification: The Principal is responsible for accurately filling in the corrections as specified in the manual, self-verifying the changes, and securing approval from the respective District Inspector of Schools (DIOS).
- Uploading: The school must then re-log into the website to upload the completed form along with all necessary supporting documents or evidence.
- Application Fee: The fee for UP Board scrutiny is ₹500 per answer sheet. The written and practical parts of a subject are charged separately, meaning a student applying for both sections of one subject must pay ₹500 for each. Payment is only accepted via Challan.
