The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, is set to release the results for the HSE 1st Year (Class 11) and HSE 2nd Year (Class 12) Public Examinations shortly. While the HSE 2nd Year results are tentatively scheduled for May 8, 2026, the HSE 1st Year (Plus One) and SSLC (Class 10) results are expected on May 20, 2026. Students can check their marks on the official portal, tnresults.nic.in, using their registration number and date of birth.

The Directorate of Government Examinations will soon officially announce the Tamil Nadu 12th result date for 2026. Lakhs of students in Tamil Nadu are on high alert as the Directorate of Government Examinations prepares to release the HSE (Class 11 and 12) results. While evaluation is complete and marks are being uploaded to the official servers, administrative transitions following recent state elections may cause a minor delay. However, the official portal, tnresults.nic.in, already displays a "Results will be published soon" message.

To check their scores, candidates will need their Registration Number and Date of Birth. Beyond the website, results will also be available via SMS, the Tamil Nadu Result mobile app, and DigiLocker. For those who do not meet the 35% passing requirement, supplementary exams will be held in June and July 2026 to ensure students can continue their studies without losing a year.
