TS ICET 2026 Spot Admission: The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Telangana, has released the spot admission guidelines for TG ICET 2026. The institutional spot admission process will be conducted for MBA and MCA seats remaining vacant after the regular counselling rounds. Candidates seeking admission through the spot round will have to approach the respective participating institutions directly.
According to the latest schedule, college-wise, course-wise and category-wise vacancy details will be published on August 27, 2026. The TG ICET 2026 institutional spot admissions will be conducted from August 31 to September 3, 2026.

TG ICET 2026 Spot Admission Eligibility
As per the guidelines, leftover seats will first be offered to candidates who have qualified TG ICET 2026. Candidates from the open category must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying degree, while BC, SC and ST candidates must have secured at least 45% marks.
If seats remain vacant after considering TG ICET-qualified candidates, applicants who do not have a TG ICET 2026 rank may also be considered, provided they meet the required minimum marks in the qualifying degree.
Candidates who have completed their qualifying degree from a university outside Telangana will be required to obtain an equivalency certificate from a concerned university in Telangana before admission.
Documents Required for TG ICET Spot Admission 2026
Candidates must carry the original documents for verification. The required documents include:
- SSC marks memo
- Intermediate or equivalent marks memo
- Degree or equivalent marks memo
- Equivalency certificate, if applicable
- Original study certificates
- TG ICET 2026 rank card, if qualified
- Caste certificate, if applicable
- Residence certificate, if applicable
- Original Transfer Certificate (TC)
