The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 3 Provisional seat allotment result for engineering admissions. Candidates who participated in the third round of the Centralised Admission Process, CAP can now check their allotment status on the official website.
The Round 3 Allotment is for admission to first-year BE/BTech and Integrated ME/MTech Programmes for the academic year 2026-27. The allotment has been published based on the candidate's merit, preferences submitted through the option form and seat availability.

The Round 3 seat allotment was released. Candidates allotted seats in this round are required to complete the subsequent admission formalities within the prescribed schedule. The official allotment lists indicate that institute reporting is scheduled from August 25 to August 28, 2026.

MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 3: First Six Preferences Autofreeze
The CET Cell has issued an important instruction for Round 3. The first six preferences entered by candidates are subject to the autofreeze rule. Candidates were therefore advised to fill the Round 3 option form carefully before submitting it.
Once the seat allotment is released, candidates should check whether the allotted course and institute correspond to their submitted preferences and understand the applicable freeze or further-admission rules.
