NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam: NTA Opens Correction Window Until May 21 at neet.nta.nic.in; Update Address and City Preference
The NTA has opened a correction window for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam, available on neet.nta.nic.in until May 21, 2026. Candidates can update their present address and select their first and second preferences for examination cities without paying any fee. The re-examination is scheduled for June 21, 2026. Admit cards and exam city slips are expected to be released by June 14, 2026.
The NTA has opened the correction window for the NEET UG 2026 re-exam, allowing candidates to update their present address and select their preferred examination cities. The correction facility was activated on May 15 and will remain available until May 21, 2026 on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in.
According to the NTA, candidates will be allowed to select their first and second preferences for exam cities. No other personal details can be changed. However, the candidates who don’t update the changes as per requirements will remain unchanged. No requests for changes will be accepted after the deadline of May 21.

NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam: No Fee For Re-Exam Facility
The NTA has said that they will not charge any fee for the correction or re-examination process. The Union Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan had already said that they would not charge any fee, which made a lot of candidates feel better. The candidates will not have to pay any fee for the correction or re-examination process which's a big relief for them.
NEET UG 2026 Admit Card And Exam City Slip Soon
The exam city intimation slip, admit cards, and other essential details will be released later on the official website. The NTA has stated that these updates are expected by June 14, 2026.
Exam Scheduled On June 21
The NEET UG 2026 re-examination is scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM. The exam will be held in pen-and-paper (offline) mode across 13 languages.
