Delhi:- The Directorate of Education, Delhi, has announced the start of admission for 12 government and government-aidedspecial schools in the National Capital.  The admission process will begin on March 9 for the upcoming academic year. Parents and guardians who wish to enroll their children can apply through the official admission portal.

Delhi Admission Process For Special Schools 2026: Key Dates and Selection Process

After completing the online registration process, parents and guardians will need to visit the respective schools for the following:-

  • Document submission and verification between March 18 and March 23 during working hours.

  • If the number of applicants exceeds the available seats, the selection will be carried out through a draw of lots. 

  • According to officials, school allotment for eligible applicants will take place on April 1, and the entire admission process is expected to be completed by April 2.

  • These special schools provide facilities and academic support designed specifically for children with various disabilities and learning challenges.

By expanding access to such institutions, the Delhi government aims to make education more inclusive and accessible for all students.
