What Is The RPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria?

Those who are interested in applying should carefully go through the full list of eligibility criteria for RPSC Special Education Recruitment 2026 given below. These criteria include educational qualifications, nationality, and age criteria.

Age Limit

Candidates williing to apply for these posts can check the details of the age limit given below-

  • The minimum age required is 21 years.
  • The maximum age limit is 40 years for the general category.
  • The maximum age limit is 45 years (including all relaxations).
  • Applicants belonging to eligible categories are allowed some relaxation in age as per government regulations.
  • OBC applicants: 3 years
  • SC/ST applicants: 5 years
  • Female applicants: 5 years
  • PwDB applicants: 10 years

Educational Qualification

  • The candidate should have a minimum qualification of Post Graduate or Equivalent Degree approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in any of the following subjects: English, Hindi, History, Political Science, Sociology, or Music.

  • The candidate should possess either a Bachelor's degree in Education in Special Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor's Degree in Education along with two years of Diploma in Special Education (as recognized by RCI).

  • Good working knowledge of Hindi in Devanagari Script and acquaintance with Rajasthani Culture is essential.

  • The candidate must be registered with Bharatiya Punarvas Parishad (RCI) before appearing for the recruitment examination.

What Is The Examination Scheme For Lecturer Posts Notification? 

The selection for these posts will be based on a competitive examination with 450 full marks 450 marks. The written exam consists of following details-

  • Paper-I (General Studies): 150 marks, 1.5 hours duration.
  • Paper-II (Subject & Special Education): 300 marks, 3 hours duration.
  • Qualifying Marks: A minimum of 40% is required for each paper (relaxed by 5% for SC/ST candidates).16
  • Negative Marking: One-third (1/3) of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
