Punjab Police Constable Exam 2026: The Punjab Police Department is all set to conduct the upcoming Punjab Police Constable Exam 2026, which is scheduled from 1 July to 30 2026. There are 3298 posts of District cadre and armed police that are being filled through this  examination. Candidates must know about the shift timings and other rules regarding the examination day to avoid any last-minute problems.

Punjab Police Constable Exam 2026 has been conducted by the Punjab Police Department for filling up 3298 vacancies for various cadres and police posts. This Exam will be held in Computer-Based mode from July 1 - 30, 2026. 

Punjab Police Constable 2026 Exam Shift Timing 

Punjab Police Constable CBT Examination 2026 will take place in two shifts daily from July 1 to 30, 2026, in the Morning Shift and Afternoon Shift (Expected). It is important to reach the exam centre before the closing of the gate since entry into the examination venue will not be allowed once the gates closes. Punjab Police Constable 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates who are giving the  Punjab Police Constable Exam 2026 need to follow all guidelines set out by the Punjab Police Department regarding conduct on the exam day. These include:

  • The entrance to the exam hall will be closed strictly 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • Aspirants cannot be allowed to enter the exam centre once the entrance gates are closed.

  • Avoid carrying any electronic gadgets such as a mobile phone/smartwatch inside the examination hall. 

  • No talking/gestures, or looking around the room during the examination are permissible.  

  • Do not leave the examination hall before the exam ends.

  • Aspirants must reach the exam centre at least 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam.

  • Mobile Phones/Smart Watches/Bluetooth Devices/Electronic Gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the hall.

  • No calculators, log books or any other study materials are permitted in the exam hall.

  • Students should not resort to any unfair practices in the exam hall.

  • Students caught resorting to unfair means will immediately be disqualified from the exam and may face legal consequences.

  • Students should report to the exam center in good time to avoid last-minute stress

  • Candidates must bring the admit card issued by the Board along with any identification document like e-Aadhaar, driving license, or passport, along with a black/blue ballpoint pen.

  • Bring at least one copy of the same identification document for verification.

  • Have two copies of recent passport-size photographs with you.

  • Two recent passport-size photos need to be brought as these might be required during the exam.
