IIT Kanpur JoSAA Round 2 Cutoff 2026: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the JoSAA Round 2 Counselling Result 2026. Round 2 reflects changes in seat availability and candidates' preferences. The Round wise opening and closing rank provides the specific data when the particular course seat is filled during the specific round.
JoSAA releases the Round 2 results because many candidates who secured a seat in Round 1 withdraws their name because they might have secured their seats from any other counselling process, such as UPTAC, BITSAT, WBJEE, etc.
Also, for candidates who failed to upload relevant documents or their category certificates during the Round 1 admission process, their seats get cancelled.

As per the recent data of JoSAA Round 2, the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at IIT Kanpur has not seen any movement in OR - CR. Earlier in the CSE program, the OPEN category was opened at AIR 32 and closed at AIR 276 which remained the same as in Round 2 too, while the top branch has seen a movement in its closing rank for the OPEN category.
