Candidates who will appear for the HTET exam for TGT Posts must know that the reporting time according to the official notice released by BSEH is  exactly 2 hours and 10 minutes before the start  of the examination. This is because it helps to conduct mandatory security checks and biometric verification. Gates will be closed 1 hour before the exam with no exception allowed. The BSEH will conduct the HTET exam today on July 5, 2026 for level 2 (TGT) and Level 1 (PRT) posts. Level 2 exam for TGT posts will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and Level 1 exam for PRT posts will be conducted from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Haryana TET Question Paper 2026

The HTET TGT exam is scheduled for 5th July from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates appearing for the TGT exam on 5th July are strictly barred from carrying mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and any other electronic gadgets inside the exam hall. Bluetooth devices, earphones, and printed or written material are also not allowed. Candidates found violating these rules may face disqualification or legal action. Only the admit card, valid ID proof, and permitted stationery items should be carried to the centre.

The HTET TGT exam will be held on 5th July from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time with their admit card and valid photo ID. The HTET 2026 PGT exam concluded smoothly across all districts of Haryana with tight security arrangements. According to initial candidate feedback, the paper was of moderate difficulty overall. Since reasoning and hindi section was easy, candidates likely scored well there, while the moderate yto difficult english and subject specific knowledge scetion may have slowed attempts.  

According to the initial feedback received from candidates, the Child Development and Pedagogy section was moderate in difficulty level and concept based questions were asked. The English section was moderate to difficult while the Hindi section was comparatively easy with most questions from the syllabus. The Reasoning section was easy while the Quantitative Aptitude section was easy to moderate and basic calculations were required. The Subject-Specific Knowledge section was moderate in difficulty and was on the core concepts. Meanwhile, the Haryana General Knowledge section was also moderate as per most candidates.

It is conducted for 3 posts across three levels of teaching positions, such as Postgraduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT).

The BSEH conducted the HTET Exam for the PGT Post in the year 2025 on 30 July. The overall paper according to the analysis conducted was moderate. The difficulty level for the Child Development and Pedagogy subject was easy to moderate; for the English and Hindi subject papers, it was moderate to difficult; for the Maths and Reasoning subject papers, it was considered easy; for the Subject Specific Section paper, it was considered moderate; and for the Haryana GK Section, the paper was of a moderate level. 

The HTET 2026 exam will be conducted in a single shift on 4th July and two shifts on 5th July. Reporting time for candidates is 2 hours and 10 minutes before the gate closing time mentioned on the admit card. Candidates are advised to check their specific shift timing on the admit card, as it may vary by level and centre. Late entry will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Candidates should revise key formulas, pedagogy concepts, and NCERT topics rather than starting anything new. Solving previous years' question papers can help candidates understand the difficulty level and question pattern. Candidates should keep their admit card, ID proof,and stationery ready a day in advance to avoid last minute stress.

The HTET 2026 exam consists of 150 MCQs, each carrying one mark, to be attempted in 2.5 hours. All four options per question have only one correct answer.
