UPSC Prelims 2026: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) would officially end the process of raising objections for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 on May 31, 2026. In a landmark policy decision that emphasizes transparency within institutions, UPSC published its provisional answer key on May 27, which is only three days after the completion of the country-wide examination held on May 24. This is a huge departure from previous practices wherein the answer keys used to be kept secret till the complete recruitment process was over.

Around 5.49 lakh students who registered for the highly competitive examination have been given until 6 pm today to raise any issues and file representations through the Commission’s online network for representation registration. They are expected to register their objections via the single portal available at the website www.upsconline.nic.in in the Question Paper Representation (QPRep) module. Objections raised beyond this time or sent via other modes such as email, speed post, and even hand-delivery shall not be entertained.
