TS PGECET 2026 Phase 1 Counselling Schedule Released; Registrations From July 2

TS PGECET Counselling: The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has issued the complete schedule for Phase 1 counselling of the Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET) 2026. This entire process plays a vital role as a guide for the candidate who wishes to pursue admission in the postgraduate courses such as M.E., M.Tech, and M.Pharm offered in various educational institutions within the state. As per the latest notification, the registration period for one-window counselling will begin from July 2, 2026, with a definite window till July 9, 2026. 

After the completion of the online registration, candidates have to go through the crucial process of uploading the certificates and document verification, which will take place from July 8 to July 9. Candidates have to utilize their online options and choose their courses and colleges between July 13 to July 15. The much-awaited provisional allotment of seats will be released on July 19. It will be compulsory for the candidates to report to their institutions by July 24. It should be noted that candidates who qualify TS PGECET as well as GATE will be eligible for participating in the process.

Candidates should keep in mind that the concerned authority conducts counselling separately for the candidates qualifying in GATE and TS PGECET 2026 examinations. Candidates need to qualify in either of the two examinations by securing the required score in order to be eligible for the counselling of TS PGECET 2026. Those candidates who qualified in the GATE examination of 2024, 2025, and 2026 can apply for the counselling process of Telangana MTech colleges.
