RGPV Bhopal Partners with ABC DigiLocker: Direct Digital Access to Degrees for 2024 and Later Graduates
RGPV Bhopal has integrated its academic repository with the Academic Bank of Credits on DigiLocker, enabling 2024 onward graduates to securely access digital degrees and mark sheets. Students must generate a 12-digit ABC ID and link it to the university’s ERP portal, ensuring profile data matches their official identification.
This marks an important milestone in achieving paperless governance and transparency, as Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal, has officially linked its academic repository to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC), which is accessible through the DigiLocker portal. In line with the NEP vision and the UGC's guidelines, this move towards digitization guarantees instant, secure, and internationally verifiable access for students graduating from the university from the batch of 2024 onwards to their degree certificates and semester mark sheets.
For easy access to the stored information, it has been decided that all existing as well as passed out students will first have to obtain their own 12 digit ABC ID on DigiLocker before associating it with their respective AccSoft ERP portal at RGPV. This arrangement helps save time on any administrative process and does away with the hassle of any physical verification needed by corporate organizations while checking the authenticity of candidates. The only requirement for candidates is that they must have perfect consistency in their names as well as biographical details when it comes to their Aadhaar card and phone network registrations. The IT Act 2000 recognizes these electronic certificates as equal to physical copies.
How to Download Your RGPV Documents on DigiLocker
Use the following steps to access your true document:

Install DigiLocker’s official application on your smart device through the Google Play Store or Apple Store, or visit digilocker.gov.in.

Sign up or login to your profile using your Aadhar Card Number or registered mobile number first.

If you don’t have ABC ID, search for "Academic Bank of Credits" under the Education tab on DigiLocker, and then generate your personal 12-digit ID.

Make sure you enter this generated ID into your RGPV Return to DigiLocker's homepage and search "Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya".
Creation of ABC ID by RGPV Students
RGPV has asked its students to make an ABC ID. This has been endorsed by the Vice Chancellor of RGPV University. They have been requested to ensure updating their ABC ID so that no problem occurs while downloading the academic certificates on the Digilocker portal.
