NEET PG 2026 Re-Exam Tomorrow: What Appearing Students Should Know

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will conduct the NEET PG 2026 re-examination tomorrow, September 5, for 2,445 candidates. The exam will be held from 3 PM to 6:30 PM in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The re-examination has been arranged for candidates who could not complete the NEET PG exam on August 30 due to technical issues at two examination centres.
The affected centres were iON Digital Zone Sitapura, Jaipur, with test centre codes 41682 and 41683. Candidates assigned to these two centres are the only ones eligible to appear for the re-examination. Candidates who appeared for the August 30 examination at other centres do not need to take the exam again.
NEET PG 2026 Re-Exam: Important Details
The re-examination is scheduled for September 5, 2026, from 3 PM to 6:30 PM. Candidates should reach the examination venue as per the reporting instructions mentioned on their revised admit cards.
NBEMS had to arrange the re-examination after an internal power supply failure affected the two specified iDZ Sitapura centres in Jaipur on August 30, preventing the examination from being conducted properly for the affected candidates.
Revised Admit Cards Released
NBEMS released the revised admit cards for the 2,445 candidates on September 3, 2026. Candidates appearing for the re-examination should download their updated admit card from the NBEMS portal and carefully check all the details.
The revised admit card contains the candidate’s exact examination venue and other important instructions. Students should not rely on the venue mentioned on their original admit card, as the centre details may have been changed.
Who Can Appear For The Re-Exam?
The re-examination is only for the 2,445 candidates who were assigned to the iON Digital Zone Sitapura centres with test centre codes 41682 and 41683 and were unable to complete the August 30 examination.
Other NEET PG 2026 candidates are not required to appear for the re-examination. Their August 30 examination will continue to be considered as applicable.

Students Should Avoid Last-Minute Confusion
With the re-examination scheduled for tomorrow, candidates should verify their admit card, examination centre and reporting requirements in advance. They should also make arrangements to reach the venue well before the reporting time to avoid any last-minute problems.
Candidates should also be cautious about information circulating on social media. Earlier reports of a paper leak in Jaipur were dismissed as false by the Press Information Bureau (PIB).
NBEMS has also warned candidates against sharing or discussing memory-based questions from the August 30 NEET PG examination, as doing so would violate the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) applicable to the examination.
Supreme Court Petition Does Not Change Re-Exam Schedule
A petition related to the NEET PG re-examination had also reached the Supreme Court. However, the legal proceedings have not changed the schedule announced by NBEMS. The re-examination remains scheduled for September 5, 2026, from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.
Candidates appearing tomorrow should therefore focus on their preparation and follow the instructions mentioned in their revised admit cards rather than relying on unverified updates circulating online.
