SBI SO Recruitment 2026: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI SO Recruitment 2026 Notification today September 4, 2026 for the recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) on a contract basis. A total of 220 Specialist Officer posts have been announced under Advertisement No. CRPD/SCO/2026-27/23. The online application process has also started today September 4, 2026 and will continue till September 25, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official SBI website at sbi.bank.in.

This recruitment covers various posts such as Zonal Head, Regional Head, Relationship Manager, Investment Specialist, Investment Officer, VP Wealth and AVP Wealth. These posts are to be filled in the Wealth Management Department.

SBI SO Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the bank for various positions. Check the details below. 

1. Educational Qualification-

•  Candidates applying for senior positions such as Zonal Head and Regional Head require a graduation degree along with relevant professional experience.

•  For Investment Specialist and Investment Officer posts candidates require postgraduate qualifications  and professional requirements such as CA/CFA along with prescribed experience

2. Age Limit-

• The age limit depends on the posts.

• It ranges from 23 to 50 years with the age calculated as on August 31, 2026. 

• Upper age relaxation will be provided to eligible reserved category candidates as per government rules.

SBI SO Recruitment 2026 Application Fees

The application fee is Rs 750 for General, EWS and OBC candidates  while candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fee. Fees must be paid online through the various payment modes available.
