Kerala SSLC 2026: Kerala General Education Minister V. Sivankutty officially announced on Monday, March 2, that 4,17,497 students are registered to appear for the SSLC examination 2026 starting this Thursday, March 5. There will be 3,031 locations for the high-stakes Class 10 exams, including 633 applicants at seven locations in the Gulf area and 386 students at nine locations in Lakshadweep. 

However, the exams that were supposed to take place in Gulf centers on March 5, 6, and 7 have been postponed due to regional security concerns in the Middle East; new dates will be announced soon. The schedule for pupils in Kerala and Lakshadweep is still the same; it ends on March 30 and SSLC results are anticipated by the third week of May.

The Higher Secondary (Plus Two) results are scheduled to be announced on May 22, 2026, in accordance with the SSLC schedule. With 26,829 first-year and 26,826 second-year normal students registered across 389 centers, the Vocational Higher Secondary (VHSE) stream likewise has a sizable enrollment. About 3,700 teachers have been assigned to VHSE duty in order to oversee this enormous academic exercise. 

Eight specialist valuation camps will support the vocational stream's valuation, which is scheduled to start on April 6 immediately after the theory tests.
