Karnataka PGCET 2026: First Round Seat Allotment Schedule and Draft Seat Matrix Released for PG Courses at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in

Karnataka PGCET 2026: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the provisional or draft seat matrix for the postgraduate programmes for the 2026-27 academic year introduced across the state, namely, MBA, MCA, M.Tech, M.Arch, taking into consideration the intake approved by AICTE, New Delhi. Additionally, the KEA has also released the first round seat allotment schedule for admissions today, September 10, 2026. Candidates can check the official schedule and other documents on the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

• The candidates are advised to attend the counseling only if they have the requisite percentage of marks in the qualifying examination. Therefore, mere assignment of merit/ a rank to a candidate does not confer any right to select a seat.
• Academic Eligibility/ admissions to Colleges/ Seat Allotments made shall be subject to rules /conditions specified from time to time / approval by AICTE, COA, Government, VTU, Concerned University, Apex Bodies, etc.
• KEA will reserve the right to withdraw any such admission made at any point of time which is not fulfilling the eligibility criteria / regulations fixed by the Competent Authority from time to time.
• The equivalence list for ME/ M.Tech courses as given by the respective university has been published on the KEA website. Candidates are hereby advised to check it carefully and enter their options for ME/ M.Tech courses as per the qualification they have studied.

If the public or educational institutions have any defects, objections, or suggestions regarding the said Draft Seat Matrix, they are requested to submit them in writing or via email to the Secretary to Government, Higher Education Department, 2nd Gate, 6th Floor, Multistoried Building, Bengaluru at ugseatmatrix2026@gmail.com within 3 days. Any objections received after the deadline will not be considered.
